Welcome to our Salmon and Trout Angling site. The purpose of this site is to give you the angler a guide to all the salmon and trout angling available within our region. With the assistance of the menu at the left hand side of this page you will be able to navigate your way to find what suits your needs.
The principal river systems in the region are the Barrow, Nore, and Suir (known as the Three Sisters), and the Cork Blackwater. The Region comprises two fishery districts: Waterford and Lismore. The River Suir is noted for its brown trout fishing. The Cork Blackwater has spring salmon and grilse, while some of its tributaries hold good stocks of brown trout.
Should you require any further information on any fisheries (River/Lake), club details, accommodation on offer or other information on any aspect of salmon angling available please contact our angling officer at jflynn@srfb.ie
